Moy Vs Cookstown Fr Rocks

Moy took on Cookstown Fr Rocks on Sunday evening in the starred Division 2 league fixture. The absence of county men Colm Cavanagh, Owen Mulligan and Sean Cavanagh (who is out for the year after last weekend’s injury) didn’t take away from the quality of football and the bite in this game and it gave the spectators a chance to see how these sides could do without their main men.

Unfortunately due  to time constraints, I had to leave this game at half time. By this stage Cookstown Fr Rocks were 1-06 to 0-05 up thanks to a well taken Conor Mullan goal. Cookstown went on to comfortably win the game then in the second half on a scoreline of; Cookstown Fr Rocks 1-10 Moy 0-09.

Below are some of my photos all taken in the first half….. next weekend its back to the county scene as Tyrone take on Armagh in the first round of the 2012 Ulster Championship in the Athletic Grounds. Come on Tir Eoghain!!
