Kildress Vs Gortin (Reserves)

The Tyrone Intermediate Reserve championship final took place at Pomeroy on Sunday afternoon with Kildress taking on Gortin. It was a very entertaining game right from the start with both teams giving 100%.

Kildress let a 3 point lead in the opening 15 minutes slip and they went in 0-04 to 0-03 down at half time. The second half was again a very even affair with nothing separating the teams and that’s how it ended up as the game finished 0-08 to 0-08 and a replay to come in the near future.

There was plenty of action in this game and below are some of my shots.

Kildress reserves were hoping to start a very successful year of silverware for the club on Sunday but Gortin put those plans on hold for the time being.

replay scheduled for next wednesday night, provisionally fixed for under lights in Greencastle as far as i know. 3 days after senior final, could be sore on us if we were to lose any more players.
