Errigal Ciaran Vs Dromore – 2013 Tyrone GAA Senior Club Championship, First Round Replay

Errigal Ciaran and Dromore served another fantastic game of football on Saturday afternoon in their Tyrone SFC first round replay in front of another great crowd in Carrickmore.

Ronan Mc Guckin’s defied the sceptics and put in another brilliant performance with Shane Hackett, Ronan McRory, Eoin Quinn, Paul Quinn and Sean McKenna all putting in fine performances to name a few but this really was a team effort again. The first half was a very similar affair to last weekend except this time round the sides were both level at 0-05 each at HT.

Dromore got a massive boost in confidence when Ryan O’Neill scored a goal in the opening seconds of the second half to give them the lead but minutes later Mark Kavanagh scrambled the ball into the net past Peter Ward to tie the game again. Damien McDermott came off the bench to score a couple more points and Ronan McRory sealed the game for Errigal as Dromore were reduced to 14 men following the sending off of Eoin McCusker.

It’s no let up for Errigal Ciaran though as they are back in action on Wednesday night taking on Augher in the quarter finals.

Full time score; Errigal Ciaran 1-13 Dromore 1-09.
