Allianz National Football League 2012 Launch

After the Tyrone Vs Kildare Division 2 game and before the Dublin Vs Kerry Division 1 clash, Croke Park celebrated the launch of the 2012 Allianz National Football league with some light entertainment for the approximate 40,000 crowd in Croke Park. It certainly was nothing compared to the 150th GAA anniversary celebrations 3 years ago but it did add a little atmosphere to the damp conditions.

Below are a few photos of the launch.

Jedward opened the GAA NFL season last year and got a lot of stick.... well the Rubberbandits who performed this year were pathetic. I was embarrassed photographing them and the GAA should be embarrassed allowing them into Croke Park to play.

Some pyrotechnics were let off for the arrival of the Dublin team onto Croke Park.

Croke Park was left in a cloud of smoke after the pyrotechnic show.
